I often think about how the Explorer II is so close to the GMT-Master II, but at the same time so different. Rolex separated the two models further on these newer 6 digit iterations with reintroduction of the orange 24 hour hand (from the previous red), the orange line of text on the dial, and bumping the case size up to 42mm. Small details here and there make for big changes in the watch world sometimes.
